How to Play Depth Incremental — First Hour
The first hour of Depth Incremental is a short staircase of cash doors. You buy steps, walk down, and spend the cash those steps produce. Deeper steps cost more. Falling off the stairs sends you back to the slip point and leaves the run intact.
A route with the numbers that repeat
- Buy a few step levels and descend. The public description calls this the loop: buy steps, go deeper.
- Open the upgrades room. The door sign in the recorded opening reads “Upgrades, 250 Cash”, with a green Buy.
- Inside, the cash board has More Cash, Faster Cash, and Walk Speed, each with Buy and Max. A separate green panel is 2x Cash.
- The recorded opening ends by buying Faster Cash for 250 cash. Three guides repeat that price. I call it the price of that opening, not a catalog.
- Save toward 2,000 cash. That opens the dirt fossils room: a bone display, a yellow dig patch, and a dirt-fossils board.
- On that board the upgrades are More Fossils, Faster Digs, and Fossil Luck. One dig costs 250 cash. Faster Digs has a level cap; the 31 Oct video shows it filled.
Doors after the first hour
Worms are described at 120,000 cash by one wiki, citing the 31 Oct video. An upgrade tree around 4,000,000 cash is the same single source. The titles door at 150,000,000 cash is written on depthincremental.wiki and called community-reported at 150 million by depthincrementalgame.wiki, so two pages repeat it; their independence is not established. Area 6, at 3,000,000 cash plus 150 worms, is one source and lives on the layers page.
Redeem coolcode before you care about rare fossils. It is the permanent x1.2 luck code on the codes page. Roblox Plus is a separate +20% luck line on the official description. I do not know if those two luck bonuses multiply.
Questions
What if I fall off the stairs?
Guides that describe the pit say you return to the spot where you slipped. The fall does not wipe the run.
Is 250 cash the permanent price of Faster Cash?
It is the price in one recorded opening, repeated by three guides. I do not treat it as a forever price list.
What comes after fossils?
A worm unlock at 120,000 cash is one source. The titles door at 150,000,000 cash appears on two pages whose independence is unestablished. They are later progression targets; completion time depends on the player.
